At SwaadSathi, customer satisfaction is our priority. Since we partner with independent restaurants and delivery partners, our return and refund policy is designed to ensure fairness for all parties.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled only before the restaurant starts preparing the food.
  • Once the restaurant has accepted and begun preparing the order, cancellations may not be possible.
  • If an order is cancelled before preparation, the full amount will be refunded to the original payment method or SwaadSathi Wallet (if applicable).

2. Returns

As food items are perishable, returned food cannot be accepted after delivery.

3. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • Incorrect food items delivered.
  • Missing items in your order.
  • Food is damaged, spilled, or not fit for consumption upon delivery.
  • Order is cancelled by the restaurant or SwaadSathi.
  • Payment is deducted but the order was not confirmed.
  • Significant delivery issues caused by SwaadSathi or the delivery partner.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will generally not be provided if:

  • You change your mind after the restaurant has started preparing the order.
  • The delivery address or contact information provided is incorrect.
  • The delivery partner is unable to deliver due to the customer's unavailability.
  • Minor differences in taste, spice level, or presentation that are within the restaurant's normal standards.

5. Reporting an Issue

If you experience any issue with your order:

  • Report it through the SwaadSathi app or website within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Provide your Order ID, a description of the issue, and photographs (if applicable).
  • Our support team will review your request and may contact you for additional information.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days for online payments.
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Wallet refunds, if applicable, may be processed instantly or within 24 hours.

7. Restaurant Responsibility

Food quality and preparation are the responsibility of the respective restaurant. However, SwaadSathi will assist customers in resolving genuine complaints and ensure a fair resolution.
